We are a working vineyard so please don’t expect a plush tourist attraction! However, we love to welcome visitors who are interested in dropping in to find out more about our story. We offer short informal tours of the vineyard and winery with lots of opportunity to ask questions and find out about the whole process from vine to bottle. We also welcome larger organised groups and have really enjoyed hosting visits from a range of local clubs and societies.
Children are very welcome as long as they promise to keep their parents under reasonable control. On a serious note, there is equipment around the vineyard so if you are going to come with younger children you will want to keep an eye on them. They will enjoy the maze and we also have an informal play area for football or just running around, with some play equipment for preschool children.
Parking at the top of the vineyard, next to the winery, and the tours involve walking through sloping grassy fields with some uneven ground. Sensible footwear is a good idea – trainers or stout shoes, and wellies if wet. We find most people can manage it but please call and talk to us if you want to discuss particular access requirements.
